Sometimes you need to just be a kid...

In the spirit of embracing my inner child, I hung out with a special little lady today.  We spent the day playing with dolls–Barbie still has more clothes than me! Pretending we owned a cupcake shop and making said cakes in her Easy Bake Oven.  They taste slightly better than the ones I made years ago. 

And, of course, we colored most the day with every color imaginable.  The walls are covered with our drawings.

It was a delightful day filled with imagination, laughter, and joy.  I truly believe we need those days more and more as we get older.
